Graphic: AutoCAD: Not importing correctly into netViz

netViz does not support DXF files created by AutoCAD R12 and R13.

To use an AutoCAD R12 file in netViz:

1. Use AutoCAD's DXFIX utility to convert the R12 DXF to an R11 DXF.

2. Import the R11 DXF file into netViz.

If you do not succeed
Use AutoCAD's Raster File Export plotter driver to create a bit-mapped image — a TIFF, PCX or BMP file. However, only use this method as a last resort, since bit-mapped images do not scale or print smoothly.

To use an AutoCAD R13 file in netViz

1. With AutoCAD's SAVEASR12 command, convert the R13 DXF to a R12 DXF file.

2. Use AutoCAD's DXFIX utility to convert the R12 DXF to an R11 DXF.

3. Import the R11 DXF file into netViz.
