Cartooning and more with pencils

Classes for grades K-6
(although others are welcome)

Do it all: well-known cartoon characters, your own characters, greeting cards, higher-level cartoon drawings. Also traditional drawing of animals, people, landscapes, and objects. Learn the basics of professional-level illustration. Discover what you really want to draw. Paced to the individual student. Black graphite and colored watercolor pencils.

Please review the supply list before registering, and then use the list when your enrollment is confirmed.

I have included here a guide to shading techniques for you to print out and practice with.

Cartooning and more with acrylics

For grades 3-6

This class will be offered in the future, as a follow-up to the Cartooning and More with Pencils class.

Learn how to paint cartoons, realistic art, and interpretive art. Create great backgrounds for your superheroes, and make wild fantasy characters. Learn the basics of professional-level illustration. Do landscapes, still-lifes, and more. Learn the secrets of planning a painting and how to gradually change from one color to another.
